Cal Poly Panhellenic
Website Design & Development
Overview
The Cal Poly Panhellenic website serves as the primary resource for prospective and current members of the Panhellenic community. As Website Director, I redesigned and managed the site to improve navigation, organize information more effectively, and create a cohesive digital experience that reflects the organization's values while supporting recruitment and member engagement.
The Challenge
The website needed to communicate a large amount of information to multiple audiences. including prospective members, current members, parents, and campus partners. My goal was to create a structure that was intuitive to navigate while maintaining a consistent visual identity across all pages. While offering a one stop hub for all questions potential new members would have in preparation for Fall 2026 Primary Recruitment.

Reflection
This project gave me the opportunity to design for a real organization with real users, shifting my perspective from creating visually appealing designs to creating experiences that are both functional and intuitive. Throughout the process, I learned the importance of organizing information, designing with the user in mind, and balancing creativity with practicality. Managing a live website also taught me how design evolves over time, reinforcing the value of flexibility, clear communication, and continuous improvement.
